At Buildlite, we strive to deliver your modular units efficiently and safely. This Shipping Policy outlines our delivery options, shipping costs, and customer responsibilities.

1. Delivery Areas

  • Ontario Deliveries: We deliver our Buildlite units to most locations within Ontario.
  • Outside Ontario: For areas outside of Ontario, please contact us to discuss available shipping options.
  • Premium and Pro-Assembly Services: Currently available exclusively within a 50 km radius of Burlington. If you're located beyond this range, our team can guide you on alternative arrangements.

2. Shipping Costs

  • Determination of Fees: Shipping costs are determined based on your location, the size and dimensions of your unit(s), and the quantity of materials ordered.
  • Remote Locations: Fees may vary for distant or remote areas. To receive an accurate shipping quote, please provide your delivery address and order details when contacting our sales team.

3. Delivery Methods

  • Flatbed Trailer: For all Buildlite packages, your modular unit is delivered directly to your site using a flatbed trailer.
  • DIY Kit Offloading: The materials for the DIY Kit can be offloaded manually without heavy machinery. With the help of two capable individuals, they can be easily laid out for assembly.
  • Pro-Assembly and Premium Packages: Our team handles the offloading and installation, ensuring your unit is delivered and set up with ease.

4. Customer Responsibilities

  • DIY Kit Offloading: Customers are responsible for offloading the materials of the DIY Kit upon delivery. Buildlite is not responsible for any damages that occur during this process.
  • Damage During Offloading: If any damages occur while you are offloading the DIY Kit materials, we will work with you to find replacement materials or provide repair assistance if needed.

5. Delivery Timeframes

  • Estimated Delivery Dates: Delivery timelines will be provided upon order confirmation. Please note that these are estimates and may vary due to factors beyond our control.
  • Delays: We are not responsible for delays caused by weather conditions, carrier issues, or other unforeseen events.

6. Inspection Upon Delivery

  • Immediate Inspection: Please inspect your order upon reception and contact us immediately if the item is defective, damaged, or if you receive the wrong item.
  • Reporting Issues: Prompt reporting allows us to evaluate the issue and make it right as soon as possible.
